What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Grow sales within assigned territory through direct sales to feedlots and backgrounding operations

Collaborate with Animal Health representatives to develop action plans and target lists

Establish and maintain relationships at all levels within beef operations in the territory

Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive sales and growth

Travel overnight as necessary to meet territory goals

What is Required (Qualifications)

High School Diploma or equivalent and five years of relevant industry experience OR a four-year college degree OR a two-year animal science specific degree

Minimum of 3 years of combined work experience in Sales, Sales Management, or Marketing roles in the agricultural field

Strong knowledge of the US beef industry, particularly the confined fed cattle market

Proven selling and negotiation skills

Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience in the feedlot industry and technology space

Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required
