What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Grow sales within assigned territory via direct sales to feedlots and backgrounding operations
Establish and maintain relationships with management at beef operations within the territory
Develop, negotiate, manage, and grow long-term relationships for Livestock Intelligence Monitoring products and services
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, particularly animal health sales representatives
Create and implement accurate account plans to meet territory goals
What is Required (Qualifications):
High School Diploma or equivalent and five years of relevant industry experience, or a four-year college degree, or a two-year animal science specific degree
Minimum of 3 years of combined work experience in Sales, Sales Management, or Marketing roles in the agricultural field
Current knowledge of the US beef industry, especially the confined fed cattle market
Strong selling and negotiation skills
Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience in the feedlot industry and ideally in technology
Experience in beef production or demonstrated aptitude to quickly learn the industry
Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required
