What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Grow sales within assigned territory through direct sales to feedlots and backgrounding operations
Collaborate with Animal Health representatives to create targeted sales strategies and action plans
Establish and maintain relationships across all levels of beef operations management
Develop and implement account plans to manage long-term sales opportunities
Demonstrate leadership by fostering collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
High School Diploma or equivalent and five years of relevant industry experience OR a four-year college degree OR a two-year animal science specific degree
Minimum of 3 years of combined work experience in Sales, Sales Management, or Marketing roles in agriculture
Strong knowledge of the US beef industry, particularly the confined fed cattle market
Proven selling and negotiation skills with the ability to build business relationships
Exceptional oral, written, and presentation communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience in the feedlot industry or technology sector
Demonstrated aptitude for quickly learning about beef production
Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required
