What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Grow sales within assigned territory through direct sales to feedlots and backgrounding operations
Collaborate with animal health representatives to create targeted action plans for sales growth
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the beef industry
Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximize sales opportunities
Travel as necessary to meet territory goals and customer needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
High School Diploma or equivalent with five years of relevant industry experience OR a four-year college degree OR a two-year animal science specific degree
Minimum of 3 years of combined work experience in Sales, Sales Management, or Marketing roles in the agricultural field
Strong knowledge of the US beef industry, particularly the confined fed cattle market
Proven sales and negotiation skills
Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience in the feedlot industry and technology space
Familiarity with beef production or a demonstrated ability to learn quickly
Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required
