What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Grow sales within assigned territory by directly engaging with feedlots and backgrounding operations
Collaborate with Animal Health representatives to develop target lists and execute sales plans
Establish and maintain relationships with management at various levels within beef operations
Develop and implement account plans to manage long‑term relationships and sales opportunities
Travel overnight as necessary to meet territory goals and foster business relationships
What is Required (Qualifications)
High School Diploma or equivalent and five years of relevant industry experience OR a four‑year college degree OR a two‑year animal science specific degree
Minimum of 3 years of combined work experience in Sales, Sales Management, or Marketing roles in the agricultural field
Strong knowledge of the US beef industry, particularly the confined fed cattle market
Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
Proven ability to develop and maintain strategic accounts while working collaboratively in a matrix organization
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in the feedlot industry and technology space
Familiarity with beef production or a demonstrated aptitude to learn quickly
Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required
