What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Develop and implement sales strategies while leading Regional Sales Managers and the Inside Sales team
Conduct market research to identify sales growth opportunities and understand competitive markets
Build and maintain high-level relationships with Key Accounts and lead Surge Strategy across sales organizations
Drive revenue growth through job sites, end users, and contractors, while educating sales teams on value-based selling
Collaborate with various business functions to align on products, processes, and strategies
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or applicable experience in technical electrical sales
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical electrical sales, particularly with surge protection or switchgear
Proven experience leading outside and inside sales teams
Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools
Ability to travel domestically and internationally, with an average of 50% travel expected
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in negotiating high-level contracts for Key Accounts
Familiarity with the electrical industry and market trends
Background in educating and mentoring sales teams on technical products
Strong interpersonal skills for effective customer negotiations
Experience working with contractors, panel shops, and OEMs
