What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Develop and execute sales strategies while leading Regional Sales Managers and the Inside Sales team
Conduct market research to identify sales growth opportunities and competitive positioning
Build and maintain high-level relationships with Key Accounts across the U.S. and Canada
Drive revenue and customer growth through various channels, including job sites and contractors
Collaborate with internal teams on sales training and marketing initiatives to enhance product awareness
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or applicable experience in technical electrical sales
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical electrical sales, particularly with surge protection or switchgear
Proven experience leading outside and inside sales teams
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills for value-based selling
Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales analytics tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience in surge protection or switchgear sales
Ability to navigate construction project sites and hold a valid driver’s license
Experience with engineering workshops and on-site surveys
Familiarity with sales training and mentoring of sales teams
Capacity to travel internationally as needed
