What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Develop and execute sales strategy while leading Regional Sales Managers and the Inside Sales team
Conduct market research to identify sales growth opportunities and competitive positioning
Build and maintain high-level relationships with key accounts across the U.S. and Canada
Drive revenue growth through job sites, end users, and contractor partnerships
Educate and mentor sales teams on application and value-based selling of surge protection products
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or applicable experience in technical electrical sales
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical electrical sales, preferably with surge protection or switchgear
Proven ability to lead outside and inside sales teams effectivelyli>
Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools
Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time across U.S. and Canadian markets
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Previous experience in surge protection or switchgear sales
Strong negotiation skills and ability to guide customers toward solutions
Experience with value-based selling techniques
Familiarity with navigating construction project sites
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel internationally
