Territory Sales and Service Representative

to join our team in

Richland, Washington . You will serve as the face of Ecolab, managing your territory, servicing laundry and dish machines, dispensing equipment and systems, and selling new solutions to help achieve a cleaner, safer & healthier environment for all.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Leverage tools and technology (including tablet and mobile phone apps) to conduct customer visits and recommend unique programs and solutions.

Communicate our total value to the customer to meet their needs and grow sales within existing accounts.

Use problem‑solving skills to conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on laundry and dish machines, dispensing equipment, and systems.

Provide emergency service to existing customers via phone or in person, as needed.

Assist in the installation of equipment and solutions.

Demonstrate safe equipment use, ensuring customers’ operations are fully functional.

Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to control costs.

Position Details This is a field‑based position and may require travel to the following locations and surrounding areas:

Richland, WA

Pasco, WA

Kennewick, WA

During your training program, you will travel to Ecolab Corporate Headquarters in Eagan, Minnesota for two of the twelve weeks. Ecolab will arrange and pay for travel and certain travel‑related expenses. You must have the proper documentation to fly, such as a Real ID or other acceptable identification.

After completion of training, you will manage, service, and sell to established customers including restaurants, hotels, schools, long‑term care facilities, and more within an assigned territory. In some cases, a territory may not be immediately available, and you may be assigned a supporting role until one becomes available.

Weekend Rotation Generally, one in three weekends are required (based on business demand).

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

At least 2 years of sales, mechanical service, customer service, food service, or hospitality industry experience.

Availability for overnight shifts, nighttime, weekend, and holiday emergency assistance.

Current, valid Driver’s License with no restrictions.

No immigration sponsorship available for this position.

Physical Requirements of Position

Ability to lift 50 lbs and push/pull.

Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and work in confined spaces.

Distinguishing color (tools may be accommodated).

Availability for overtime work.

Ability to drive a company vehicle; pre‑employment and ongoing motor vehicle record checks will be performed.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s degree or other advanced training or certifications.

Previous mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical experience in industries related to food service, laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, and/or pool and spa.
