What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Develop and execute sales strategies while leading Regional Sales Managers and the Inside Sales team
Conduct market research to identify sales growth opportunities and competitive positioning
Build and maintain high-level relationships with Key Accounts across the U.S. and Canada
Drive revenue achievement through engagement with job sites, contractors, and other stakeholders
Educate and mentor sales teams on application and value-based selling of surge protection products
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or applicable experience in technical electrical sales
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical electrical sales, specifically with surge protection or switchgear
Proven experience leading outside and inside sales teams
Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within the U.S. and Canada, including overnight trips
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in negotiating and managing high-level contracts for Key Accounts
Familiarity with construction project sites and physically capable of navigating them
Strong value-based selling skills and interpersonal abilities for customer negotiations
