What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Develop and execute sales strategy while leading Regional Sales Managers and the Inside Sales team
Conduct market research to identify sales growth opportunities and understand competitive markets
Manage high-level relationships with Key Accounts and negotiate contracts
Collaborate with various internal teams to enhance product offerings and sales strategies
Educate and mentor sales teams on application and value-based selling of products
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or applicable experience in technical electrical sales
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical electrical sales, particularly with surge protection or switchgear
Experience leading outside and inside sales teams
Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within the U.S. and Canada
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience in surge protection sales or with contractors, panel shops, and OEMs
Strong value-based selling and interpersonal skills for customer negotiations
Familiarity with construction project sites and ability to navigate them
