What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage national outside sales and technical responsibilities for the employer’s product line, including customer education and technical expertise
Drive revenue by influencing end-user specifications and closing strategic opportunities
Develop and maintain relationships with key distributor accounts and provide technical support
Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers and agents
Analyze industry trends and provide competitive feedback to improve product offerings
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is preferred, ideally in a technical discipline
Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience in the electrical products and telecommunications industry
Experience managing or working with third‑party rep agencies is highly preferred
Ability to travel 60% of the time and work 100% remotely from a home office
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with high organizational abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience using Salesforce.com for sales tracking and management
Proven track record of success in driving sales and managing customer relationships
Familiarity with engineering seminars and product marketing development
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Previous involvement in community service or philanthropic initiatives
