What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage national outside sales and technical responsibilities for the employer's product line in the U.S.
Drive revenue through customer education and subject matter expertise
Develop and maintain relationships with key distributor accounts and manage pricing
Provide technical information and advice regarding the employer's products and perform product demonstrations
Analyze industry trends to identify early-stage needs and assist in launching new products
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is preferred, with a technical discipline highly preferred
Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience in the electrical products sector, specifically within the telecom industry
Ability to work 100% remote and travel 60% of the time; valid driver's license required
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Experience using Salesforce.com is preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience managing or working strategically with third-party rep agencies
High level of organizational and time management skills with minimal supervision
