File Clerk Contract Position

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to a busy accounting environment? Our team is seeking a contract File Clerk to support a CPA firm during the peak tax season (January-April). Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate electronic and paper filing systems for tax-related documents and client records Log and track incoming client files, making sure all paperwork is labeled and accessible Scan, copy, and upload confidential documents securely Retrieve requested files for CPAs and tax staff in a timely manner Ensure compliance with internal privacy and security protocols at all times Prepare completed files for secure storage or destruction per company policy Requirements: Previous experience in administrative or clerical roles preferred Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive documents Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient with standard office equipment (scanners, copiers, document management systems) Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
