Purchasing Agent
to manage procurement processes and maintain optimal inventory levels. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and proficient in procurement best practices. Working collaboratively, the successful candidate will ensure operational excellence by sourcing quality materials, optimizing costs, and coordinating with internal teams while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with purchasing standards. Direct Hire Responsibilities: Review and analyze branch stock levels of assigned product lines for additional inventory purchases or stock transfer proposals. Support customer service by processing requests for mill quotations. Execute purchase orders based on inventory reviews. Perform timely and accurate stock receiving with calculated costing in the system. Conduct daily reviews of stock sales and stock receipts to identify potential inventory needs. Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a procurement or parallel role Prior working knowledge of procurement processes and best practices Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate across multiple teams and branch locations Must be able to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline preferred Well organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize tasks preferred Seniority level
