Job Description
Evergreen Innovation Group – Modular, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is seeking a Procurement Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for the procurement and delivery of electrical supplies and equipment for a particular project.
Responsibilities
Prequalify vendors by requesting current financial statements, customer lists, material suppliers, recent purchase orders, backlog of orders, fabrication schedules, and current employee staff including shop employees.
Develop a detailed bid analysis including a bid breakdown and scope verification.
Procure all equipment on either EIG purchase orders or as an agent for our clients.
Develop a sequence procurement plan that aligns with the project schedule.
Facilitate final design review meetings with end users and engineering firms to assure that all specifications and data sheets are correct.
Develop detailed RFQs that identify all requirements associated with each piece of equipment.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably within EIG’s core markets.
MEP procurement experience required.
Excellent listening and strong communication skills.
Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
Ability to create and support team morale.
Demonstrated understanding of building processes and systems.
Complete understanding of cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (Prolog or similar), accounting cost management software (CMIC or similar), and scheduling software (Primavera or similar).
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
Strong work ethic and a "can‑do" attitude.
