What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Assign accurate HTS classifications using relevant guidelines and rulings
Validate PGA implications and admissibility requirements for products
Conduct structured research on tariff updates, regulatory changes, and trade actions
Review product information to ensure necessary details are available for accurate classification
Screen for AD/CVD exposure using ACE and Federal Register sources
What is Required (Qualifications):
Strong understanding of HTSUS, Canada HS structure, and relevant classification notes
Proven ability to identify product nuances that affect classification and admissibility
Familiarity with PGA requirements and agency-specific risks or restrictions
Experience conducting structured tariff and regulatory research
High attention to detail when reviewing product descriptions and specifications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Previous experience in trade compliance or a related field
Knowledge of additional regulatory agencies and their requirements
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
