What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve maximum sales and profits in designated territory
Build and maintain relationships with key surgeons and independent distributors
Analyze market information to create effective sales plans and marketing strategies queued
Support field sales activities including training, labs, dinners, and conferences
Recruit and manage independent distributors to enhance sales effectiveness
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 7 years of sales experience within the orthopedic space, preferably in foot and ankle
Willingness to travel up to 50% for business purposes
Experience negotiating contracts, territories, and managing conflicts
Proven track record of working with independent distributors and securing hospital product approvals
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
MBA
Knowledge of foot and ankle products and technical specifications
Experience with foot and ankle specific independent distributors
