Reporting into the Maintenance Supervisor, the Multi-Skilled Mechanic will be based out of Baltimore, MD and will be responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance and operation of our plant equipment, buildings, and facilities within a unionized environment. This role demands technical proficiency, and a collaborative approach in working alongside hourly maintenance employees and instrumentation technicians.- Oil and Dirt: Exposed to Manganese and overall dust. Work with oils, industrial lubricants and solvents, gasoline and fuel oil, hydraulic fluid and heat-transfer fluid up to 90% of working hours.5-8 years relevant industrial maintenance experience **or**- Previous Experience as a First-Class Mechanic

3-5 years relevant industrial maintenance experience **and** on the job evaluation resulting in a score of at least 80% on the Maintenance Skills Matrix (requires minimum two years working as a lower-class mechanic to qualify for evaluation) **or**- Previous Experience as a Second-Class Mechanic
1-3 years relevant industrial maintenance experience **and**
On the job evaluation resulting in a score of at least 70% on the Maintenance Skills Matrix (requires minimum three years working as a lower-class mechanic to qualify for evaluation)- As part of our hiring process, all applicants must complete an assessment designed to evaluate job-related skills. The assessment will be in two parts and will take approximately 12-18 minutes to complete.
