What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Perform complex data analysis related to commercial insurance and overall business objectives.
Conduct various analyses, including root cause, cost benefit, and performance tracking, to generate actionable insights.
Collaborate with client groups to identify business needs and present findings to senior leaders.
Partner with IT teams to define business requirements and assist in User Acceptance Testing.
Create and maintain key business intelligence artifacts, ensuring accuracy and logical consistency.
What is Required (Qualifications)
6+ years of directly related analytical experience in a relevant industry.
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science, or equivalent experience.
Superior research, statistical, analytical, and mathematical skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills for effective presentations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Advanced degree in a related field and/or CPCU designation.
Experience in commercial insurance.
Working knowledge of programming languages such as R or Python.
Experience in automating repetitive tasks.
Previous leadership and mentoring experience.
