What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Perform complex data analysis for commercial insurance to inform business objectives and action plans
Conduct various types of analyses such as root cause, cost benefit, and performance tracking to generate actionable insights
Consult with client groups to identify business needs, scope issues, and present findings to senior leadership
Collaborate with IT partners to define business requirements and conduct User Acceptance Testing on digital assets
Create and maintain key business intelligence artifacts, ensuring accuracy and logical integrity
What is Required (Qualifications):
6+ years of directly related analytical experience in a related industry
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Superior research, statistical, analytical, data processing, and mathematical skills
Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to make effective presentations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Advanced degree in a related field and/or CPCU designation
Commercial insurance experience
Working knowledge of R or Python
Experience with automating repetitive tasks
Leadership and mentoring experience
