What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Perform complex data analysis related to commercial insurance to support business objectives
Conduct various types of analyses, including root cause, cost benefit, and performance tracking
Consult with client groups to identify business needs, prepare findings, and present recommendations
Collaborate with IT partners to define business requirements and conduct User Acceptance Testing
Create and maintain key business intelligence artifacts, ensuring accuracy and logic
What is Required (Qualifications)
6+ years of directly related analytical experience in a relevant industry
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Superior research, statistical, analytical, and mathematical skills
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to make effective formal presentations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, Visual Basic, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Advanced degree in a related field and/or CPCU designation
Commercial insurance experience
Working knowledge of R or Python
Experience with automating repetitive tasks
Demonstrated ability to actively contribute to company culture and team dynamics
