What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Perform complex data analysis for commercial insurance, collaborating with various departments to support business objectives
Conduct a range of analyses, including root cause, cost benefit, performance tracking, and forecasting to generate actionable insights
Consult with client groups to identify business needs, prepare findings, and present recommendations to senior leaders
Partner with IT to provide business definitions, data architectural inputs, and perform User Acceptance Testing
Create and maintain key business intelligence artifacts, ensuring accuracy and logical consistency
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 6 years of directly related analytical experience in the commercial insurance industry
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science, or a related field
Strong research, statistical, analytical, and data processing skills with the ability to conduct structured analyses
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to make effective formal presentations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, Visual Basic, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Advanced degree in a related field and/or CPCU designation
Commercial insurance experience
Working knowledge of R or Python
Experience with automating repetitive tasks
Demonstrated adaptability and strong time management skills
