What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the U-Haul center
Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, and clean and inspect equipment
Answer customer inquiries and prepare rental invoices
Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University
What is Required (Qualifications)
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment weighing at least 50 lbs
Willingness to work in environments requiring safety precautions
Ability to participate in continuous education and training programs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience in customer service or a similar role
Familiarity with rental equipment or logistics
Certification in propane filling or forklift operation (can be obtained through training)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Availability to work flexible hours
