Senior Systems Analyst (IC)
for a technology-driven
Insurance organization
supporting core policy administration and enterprise insurance platforms. This role focuses on deep system analysis and operational support. The Senior Systems Analyst will analyze system behavior, file structures, and data flows to identify root causes, resolve issues, and drive system stability and improvement. This is a

Responsibilities
Analyze system behavior, batch processes, data flows, and file structures to troubleshoot functional and operational issues.
Serve as the primary systems-focused liaison between Product Owners, Developers, and QA, bridging gaps between business intent and system execution.
Perform root cause analysis using SQL and data investigation techniques to identify process and system failures.
Support both reactive production issues and proactive system improvements, maintaining an approximately 50/50 balance.
Partner with development teams to clarify system impacts and validate functional fixes (no coding or direct system development required).
Ensure system processes are functioning as designed and assist in correcting issues when workflows break down.
Qualifications
Required bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Analysis, Computer Science with a business background, or related field.
5–7 years of experience in a Systems Analyst or system-focused role.
Insurance industry experience required, with preference for life insurance, Annuities, or the FAST platform.
Strong understanding of enterprise systems, insurance policy administration platforms, and file-based processing.
Hands-on experience using SQL to analyze data and support root cause analysis.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across product, engineering, and QA teams.
Interest in potential future people management opportunities is a plus, but not required.
Compensation
Salary range: $110,000 - $120,000
Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, holidays, and sick leave as required by law.
