What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Serve as the primary point of contact for major accounts, maintaining high-level executive relationships

Sell and manage relationships with existing national named accounts, focusing on growth and customer service

Identify and qualify business opportunities while addressing competitive threats

Prepare and present formal proposals to various levels of the organization, leading negotiations and closing sales

Coordinate account strategy and tactics for the sales support team, ensuring effective resource utilization

What is Required (Qualifications)

8+ years of direct work experience in a relevant account management environment

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

Strong negotiation and closing skills

Proven selling skills in a complex matrix environment

Specialized knowledge in networking products, preferably those of the employer

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience with Internet-related software or systems

Advanced client interfacing and customer-focused approach

Strong influencing skills and ability to manage complex relationships

Demonstrated ability to effectively handle time and prioritize workload

Knowledge of the employer’s product portfolio and market strategies
