What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

Act as the primary point-of-contact for major accounts, maintaining high-level executive relationships

Sell the employer's products and services, focusing on growing and retaining named accounts

Identify and qualify long-term and short-term business opportunities while addressing competitive threats

Prepare and present formal proposals and presentations to executives, leading negotiations to closure

Develop and maintain detailed account profiles and strategies for sustained management and success

What is Required (Qualifications):

8+ years of direct work experience in a relevant sales environment

Strong negotiation, solution selling, and closing skills

Advanced client interfacing abilities with a customer-focused approach

Specialized knowledge in networking products, preferably those of the employer

BA/BS degree preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

Experience selling in a complex matrix environment

Proven ability to effectively lead teams and prioritize workload

Familiarity with Internet-related software or systems

Strong influencing skills and ability to manage pipeline and forecasting

Demonstrated effective use of internal relationships and resources
