What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Educate and engage healthcare professionals about clinical evidence and product efficacy to support on‑label prescribing
Drive sales performance by independently managing sales forecasts and budgets within the assigned territory
Build and maintain professional relationships with primary care healthcare professionals and pharmacy staff
Develop and implement strategic business plans in collaboration with cross‑functional partners to enhance sales results
Handle customer objections effectively and provide exemplary skills in a training capacity when needed
What is Required (Qualifications)
BS/BA degree required
Minimum 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or related transferrable sales experience
Proven track record of high performance in a sales‑focused role
Strong understanding of the primary care market and healthcare industry
Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Product launch experience is a plus
Knowledge of territory and established relationships with key stakeholders is a plus
Proficiency in Veeva CRM, Microsoft Teams, and calendar‑based call planning tools is a plus
Marketing experience with an understanding of financial processes and Market Access is a plus
Knowledge of the medical, healthcare, or pharmacy industry is preferred
