What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Promote and sell primary care products to healthcare providers within the Richmond, VA territory
Educate healthcare professionals on clinical evidence and product efficacy to support on-label prescribing
Build and maintain professional relationships with primary care healthcare professionals and pharmacy staff
Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve sales targets
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive product utilization and address market needs
What is Required (Qualifications)
BS/BA degree required
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales
Proven track record of high performance in a sales-focused role
Strong understanding of the primary care market and healthcare industry
Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Established relationships with key stakeholders in the territory
Experience with product launches in the pharmaceutical industry
Proficiency in Veeva CRM, Microsoft Teams, and calendar-based call planning tools
Marketing and commercial experience with knowledge of financial processes
Knowledge of the regulatory environment within the biotech/pharma industry
