What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Educate and engage healthcare professionals about clinical evidence and product efficacy to support on-label prescribing
Independently drive sales performance to meet or exceed sales forecasts and assigned budgets
Build and maintain professional relationships with primary care healthcare professionals and pharmacy staff within the assigned territory
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive appropriate utilization of primary care products
Develop and implement local strategies and business plans to enhance sales performance
What is Required (Qualifications)
BS/BA degree required
Minimum 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical device sales, or related transferrable sales experience
Proven track record of high performance in a sales-focused role
Strong understanding of the primary care market and healthcare industry
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Knowledge of the medical, healthcare, or pharmacy industry and clinical skills
Product launch experience
Established relationships with key stakeholders in the territory
Proficiency in Veeva CRM, Microsoft Teams, and call planning tools
Marketing and commercial experience with understanding of financial processes and regulatory environment in biotech/pharma
