What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Educate and engage healthcare professionals about clinical evidence and product efficacy to support appropriate prescribing
Drive sales performance and ensure forecasts and budgets meet or exceed expectations
Build and maintain professional relationships with primary care healthcare professionals and pharmacy staff
Develop local strategies and business plans in collaboration with the District Sales Manager
Anticipate challenges and propose solutions to achieve sales goals while adhering to ethical standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
BS/BA degree required
Minimum 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales
Proven track record of high performance in a sales-focused role
Strong understanding of the primary care market and healthcare industry
Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients effectively How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with product launches is a plus
Established relationships with key stakeholders in the territory
Proficiency in Veeva CRM, Microsoft Teams, and calendar-based call planning tools
Marketing and commercial experience with an understanding of financial processes
Knowledge of the regulatory environment within the biotech/pharma industry
