Identify and qualify both long-term and short-term business opportunities, addressing competitive threats
Prepare formal proposals and presentations, leading negotiations and closing sales effectively
Develop and manage detailed account profiles and strategies for sustained business success
What is Required (Qualifications):
8+ years of direct work experience in a relevant environment
BA/BS degree preferred
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Experience selling in a complex matrix environment
Ability to provide and work from a home office located within the territory
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Specialized knowledge in networking products, preferably those of the employer
Advanced client interfacing and customer-focused approach
Strong influencing and solution selling skills
Experience with internet-related software or systems
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead teams and prioritize workload
