What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services
Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers while ensuring equipment safety
Clean and inspect equipment, checking fluid levels as needed
Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment
What is Required (Qualifications)
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs
Willingness to participate in safety training and use protective gear as necessary
Commitment to a nicotine-free work environment in accordance with company policy
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in customer service or similar roles
Familiarity with equipment maintenance or vehicle handling
Skills in using technology for managing rentals or inventory
Certification in forklift operation or willingness to obtain
Basic knowledge of propane filling procedures or willingness to learn
