What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Assist customers at the U-Haul center with products and services
Use U-Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers
Clean and inspect equipment, ensuring proper fluid levels
Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment
What is Required (Qualifications)
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment weighing at least 50 lbs
Willingness to work in a moderate-risk environment with safety precautions
Availability for continuous education through U-Haul University
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience in customer service or related field
Familiarity with equipment maintenance and inspection
Ability to drive a forklift (certification offered upon employment)
Interest in obtaining certifications for filling propane and installing hitches
Skills in using technology for inventory management
