We partner with manufacturers across Grand Rapids seeking Inside Sales Representatives who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
Qualify and develop new sales leads through outbound calls, emails, and digital channels. Prepare and deliver accurate product quotes, proposals, and sales presentations to prospective and existing customers. Manage the full sales cycle from initial inquiry to order processing and post-sale follow-up. Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Collaborate with production, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage customer data, and forecast sales pipeline. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Recommended Qualifications
Proven experience in inside sales, preferably within a B2B manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, products, or industrial components. Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for managing leads and sales pipelines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on active listening and persuasive articulation. Ability to understand and explain technical product specifications to a diverse customer base.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, fabrication) Familiarity with technical drawings or specifications Fluency in a second language relevant to target markets
