Job Responsibilities
Assist customers inside and outside the U-Haul center with products and services
Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, including cleaning and inspecting equipment
Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment from rentals
Participate in ongoing education and training through U-Haul University
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with the ability to maintain a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
Availability to work with safety precautions around moving parts and chemicals
Willingness to participate in certification programs for filling propane and driving a forklift
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in customer service or similar roles
Familiarity with equipment rentals or logistics operations
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Ability to manage time effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Interest in ongoing professional development and learning
