What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the U-Haul center
Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
Maintain and inspect equipment, including moving and hooking up trucks and trailers
Prepare rental invoices and handle equipment returns
Participate in ongoing training and certification programs, including filling propane and driving a forklift
What is Required (Qualifications):
Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
Willingness to work in environments with moderate risks or discomforts
Ability to adhere to safety precautions and use protective gear when necessary
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Previous customer service experience
Familiarity with rental equipment and services
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience using technology for inventory management
Interest in ongoing personal and professional development
