The Opportunity We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Plainwell region seeking Continuous Improvement Leaders. Key Responsibilities Lead the identification, planning, and execution of continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) across manufacturing operations. Facilitate problem-solving sessions and workshops using methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, and A3 thinking. Coach, mentor, and train employees at all levels in continuous improvement principles and tools. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of improvement projects and sustain gains. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the manufacturing facility. Manage a portfolio of improvement projects, ensuring timely completion and realization of benefits (e.g., cost reduction, quality improvement, efficiency gains). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize best practices and ensure consistent application of CI methodologies. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience leading continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency in Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, VSM) and Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC). Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions. Experience in leading cross-functional teams and facilitating change management efforts. Bonus Qualifications Experience integrating Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, AI/ML) into continuous improvement initiatives. Demonstrated financial acumen, including advanced ROI analysis and cost-benefit modeling for improvement projects. Proficiency with advanced data visualization and Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for performance monitoring and communication. Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites or globally.
