What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services
Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers safely
Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels
Answer customer inquiries and educate them on available products and services
What is Required (Qualifications)
Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Fluency in English and Spanish
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and certification programs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience in customer service or related fields
Familiarity with equipment rental or moving services
Certification in forklift operation or willingness to obtain certification
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
Knowledge of safety protocols and equipment maintenance
