What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center
Utilize smartphone technology for managing rentals and inventory
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers as needed
Clean and inspect equipment, ensuring proper fluid levels and safety
Prepare rental invoices and manage the return process for equipment
What is Required (Qualifications)
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment weighing at least 50 lbs
Willingness to engage in ongoing training and education
Capability to adhere to safety protocols in a work environment with potential hazards
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous customer service experience, especially in retail or service industries
Familiarity with automotive or equipment maintenance
Experience using technology for inventory management
Ability to operate a forklift (certification can be obtained through employment)
Interest in personal development and wellness programs
