What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center
Utilize smartphone-based technology to manage rentals and inventory
Clean and inspect equipment, including checking fluid levels
Prepare rental invoices and process returned equipment
Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University
What is Required (Qualifications):
Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs
Willingness to work in environments with moderate risks and discomforts
Commitment to a nicotine-free workplace
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Certification in propane filling and forklift operation (provided by employer upon employment)
Experience in customer service or related fields
Familiarity with safety precautions related to equipment and machinery
