We are seeking a detail-oriented
Assistant Civil Designer
to support a variety of civil engineering projects. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their design career while working alongside experienced engineers and project teams in a collaborative environment. Assist in the design of civil projects including: Storm drainage & stormwater management systems Water & sanitary sewer utilities Site development, roadways, airports, and facilities Erosion & sediment control and traffic control systems Support drawing production, including layout, calculations, and design refinement Develop and revise designs based on sketches, mark-ups, and project needs Analyze reports, maps, drawings, and topographical/geological data Apply design codes, standards, and specifications Perform volume calculations for excavation and site grading Ensure design deliverables meet scope, budget, and schedule requirements Maintain organized project documentation and drawing revisions ✅ Qualifications Education & Experience (one of the following required): Bachelor’s degree in Drafting Technology or related field + 2 years of experience Associate degree + 3 years of experience OR 4+ years of progressive detailing/design experience Basic proficiency with design tools such as
AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Excel Foundational knowledge of civil design principles, calculations, and systems Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a
multi-disciplinary team environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills What You’ll Gain Hands-on experience across diverse civil engineering projects Exposure to multi-disciplinary collaboration Opportunity to transition into a
