Job Summary We are seeking talented part‑time outbound sales representatives for our remote Orkin Customer Contact Center. The role requires a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Work shifts vary Monday‑Saturday from 9 am‑9 pm EST.
Responsibilities
Provide world‑class customer service and inbound phone sales to customers.
Answer questions from prospective customers regarding Orkin services.
Build rapport and handle objections within a conversational call flow.
Close pest control sales via the telephone and schedule the initial service.
Work remotely from your home office with a minimum internet speed of 100 Mbps upload/50 Mbps download; required equipment will be provided.
Support field peak season that begins around February.
Manage customer relationships to ensure best‑in‑class service while identifying opportunities for cross‑selling and up‑selling.
Use gamification methods as a tool to measure performance.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
2+ years of telesales experience with a proven track record of hitting sales quotas.
2+ years of cold‑calling and/or telemarketing experience.
Will be required to make 200+ phone calls per day.
High level of PC knowledge; must navigate multiple systems while speaking with customers.
Appropriate workspace with private/semiprivate home‑office space free of distractions and background noise.
Minimum of 100 Mbps download/50 Mbps upload or higher; ability to hard‑wire directly to a modem.
Must reside within commuting distance of greater Orlando, FL metro area (or continental US as required).
Highly proficient math skills, excellent negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, comfortable working in a high‑volume role, and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
