Role Overview The Wholesale Account Executive is a commercially focused role responsible for supporting and growing Runway’s wholesale business across a portfolio of brand partners and retail accounts.

This role sits at the heart of day-to-day wholesale execution, managing accounts, driving sell-in and in-season performance, and ensuring brands are set up for success with U.S. retailers.

You will work closely with the founder and senior leadership, gaining exposure to how major U.S. wholesale relationships are built, launched, and scaled. This role suits someone who is hands-on, organized, commercially minded, and eager to grow.

Key Responsibilities Wholesale Account Management

Proactively develop and progress relationships withmajor U.S. retailersand priority specialty retail partners that are strategically relevant and commercially viable for Runway’s brand portfolio

Own the management and growth of assigned U.S. wholesale accounts

Maintain strong working relationships with retail partners through regular communication and performance reviews

Lead and support seasonal sell-in meetings and in-season trading conversations

Identify reorder, expansion, and door-growth opportunities based on sales performance

Brand Partner Support & Retail Readiness

Act as a key day-to-day contact for assigned brand partners

Support brands through U.S. wholesale requirements, timelines, and retailer expectations

Own preparation of retailer-facing materials including line sheets, pricing, sales data, and performance recaps

Sales Analysis & Trading Support

Prepare regular sales, stock, and margin analysis by account and category

Contribute to weekly and monthly trading reviews with clear insights and recommended actions

Support forecasting, order book management, and seasonal planning

Partner with operations and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely order execution

Execution & Process Excellence

Ensure accounts are managed accurately and professionally, with strong attention to detail

Support the ongoing improvement of Runway’s wholesale processes and reporting

Qualifications Required

3–7 years of experience in wholesale account management, sales operations, or retail-facing commercial roles

Strong analytical skills with confidence working in Excel and sales data

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused

Strong communication skills and comfort working with brand partners and retail customers

Comfort operating in a fast-moving, founder-led environment

Nice to Have

Experience working with premium or lifestyle brands

Exposure to major U.S. retailers or specialty wholesale accounts

Exposure to international brands entering the U.S. market
