At Regions, the Loan Servicing Specialist performs a variety of operational tasks within Loan Servicing which may include special servicing, loan workout, investor relations, and loan operations. Primary Responsibilities Receives and reviews incoming work, contacting appropriate resources as needed Reviews loan documentation for accuracy Completes validation of loan documentation, reports, and/or systems Documents missing, incorrect, or incomplete documents and/or data Performs data entry and/or enters loans into the appropriate systems Resolves customer or associate inquiries as necessary and communicates when applicable Prepares, edits, distributes, and/or corrects specialized and/or complex documents/reports Researches and resolves more complex loan related issues which may include missing payments, disputed accounts history requests and general loan related questions Works under limited supervision following established guidelines and procedures Ensures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practices This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Requirements High School Diploma or GED Two (2) years of banking or related work experience Applicants will be expected to pass any assessment associated with the position Preferences Knowledgeable of loan operations activities Skills and Competencies Ability to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidance Data entry and typing skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Strong time management Strong written and verbal communication skills Investigate and process both Direct and Indirect credit bureau disputes in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Possess strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment. Previous experience in the following systems preferred: ACLS, CCNET, TSYS and CACS Demonstrated knowledge of bankruptcy processes, documentation, and regulatory requirements. Schedule of Role Hybrid/Remote work schedule: Training Hours (30 days): Monday- Thursday in office 8:00am-4:30pm Friday from home 8:00am-4:30pm Following Training: Tuesday
Thursday in office (every week) 8:00am-4:30pm Monday and Friday - Remote work - 8:00am-4:30pm This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience Position Type Full time Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position. Job Range Target: Minimum: $40,000.00 USD Median: $48,310.00 USD Incentive Pay Plans: This job is not incentive eligible.
