Job Title: Applications Programmers (Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
Work Location: Baltimore, MD
Position Description: Configure and support Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, and Mobile Connect (SMS) Assist with SMS enablement, including short code acquisition support, keyword configuration, opt-in/opt-out management, and compliance alignment Develop automated journeys, triggered sends, and scheduled communications across email and SMS Build and maintain data extensions, SQL queries, and audience segmentation Implement dynamic and personalized content using AMP script Support integrations between Marketing Cloud and external enterprise systems Troubleshoot campaign, SMS, data, and automation issues Follow organizational governance, security, privacy, and approval processes Produce basic technical documentation and support knowledge transfer Adhere to all security, change control, and Project Management Office (PMO) policies, processes, and methodologies Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development Hands-on experience with AMP script and SQL in Marketing Cloud Experience implementing or supporting SMS messaging, including consent management Familiarity with regulated or public-sector environments (PII, compliance, security) Ability to work effectively in a staff augmentation role under client direction Experience with Mobile Connect, SMS compliance, and short code provisioning processes Experience supporting government agencies or health organizations Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG / Section 508) Experience integrating Marketing Cloud with Salesforce Preferred Qualifications
A minimum of five (5) years of Salesforce experience in Marketing Cloud development Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Consultant certification Experience with MobileConnect, SMS compliance, and short code provisioning processes Experience supporting government agencies or health organizations Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG / Section 508) Experience integrating Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Consultant certification
