Product Manager - Analytics, AI Private Markets

Overview Charles River for Private Markets is seeking a Product Manager, Data, Analytics, and AI to productize our core data management, intelligence, analytics, and reporting solutions and services to scale across all clients. You will own the product strategy and lead the development of our future cloud‑based data and analytics platform. You will exercise latitude in determining objectives and approaches to solving challenges within new and evolving clients, making decisions on moderately complex to complex issues and working without direct guidance.

Responsibilities

Own our core data ingestion, data management, analytics, reporting solutions/services and roadmap.

Oversee user experience of the end‑to‑end data process from ingestion to normalization to accessibility and delivery.

Ensure the client experience is simple, intuitive, and drives measured adoption.

Monitor metrics against platform performance and service levels.

Identify, assemble and coordinate internal and third‑party resources and assign responsibilities.

Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation.

Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.

Work across Professional Services, Product, and Engineering teams to prioritize bugs, defects, and enhancements.

Support go‑to‑market strategy and execution.

Provide timely updates on key roadmap updates to senior management.

Qualifications

5+ years combined experience in a product management role.

Background in enterprise SaaS within data management, data science, and/or artificial intelligence.

Proven track record of delivering impactful product releases to a roadmap.

Experience in database management, machine learning, AI, data analysis, data modeling, and business intelligence.

Experience with Microsoft Power BI (Power Query, PerformancePoint, PowerView), Power Platform, Synapse, SSRS, SSAS, Excel Services, IPaaS, Snowflake.

Experience using JIRA or other agile development tools.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Domain Knowledge

Strong understanding of private markets investing.

Knowledge of financial modeling, valuation, and key performance indicators used in private markets.

Familiarity with investment process including deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management.

Additional Requirements

Ability to travel as required for client engagements (up to 20%), including internationally.

Benefits & Compensation Salary range: $80,000 - $140,000 annually. Employees are eligible to participate in a comprehensive benefits program including retirement savings plan (401K) with company match, insurance coverage, paid time off, Employee Assistance Program, incentive compensation, and eligibility for tax‑advantaged savings plans.
