
AVS Brand Specialist- JP

As an Account Manager for Amazon’s JP retail market, you will support vendors directly, manage their businesses, and help drive growth through data analysis and market insight.
Key Responsibilities
Continuously monitor daily operational data, proactively identify potential risks, and adjust strategies to maintain smooth operations.
Propose optimization solutions to improve vendor performance in supply chain efficiency, traffic acquisition, conversion rates, etc., driving overall sales growth.
Maintain frequent, high‑quality communication with vendors, understand their needs and resolve issues promptly.
Provide regular business reports to vendors, clearly communicate progress, outline strategic directions and analyze business implications.
Work with vendors to define and achieve business targets.
Provide weekly reports to internal teams to ensure transparency and promote cross‑team collaboration.
Collaborate closely with internal functional teams, coordinate resources and secure support to help vendors achieve sustainable growth.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business school education.
Excellent written and verbal communication in Japanese; good written English skills.
Strong presentation and communication abilities, able to express thoughts logically and succinctly; excellent listening skills; highly consultative and solutions‑oriented.
Data analysis skills: ability to collect, clean, interpret, challenge, and analyze data, and provide actionable solutions.
Influencing and metrics management skills: understand business metrics, create realistic forecasts, strong negotiation skills.
Ability to operate independently in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment with full responsibility for achieving business goals.
Ability to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions for typical and complex issues.
Ability to work collaboratively within teams, focusing on delivering high‑quality results.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and content management systems; quick to learn and use new tools.
Ability to manage and drive business outcomes independently in a changing, uncertain environment.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 3 years of relevant experience, with experience as an Account Manager preferred.
Study experience in Japan preferred.
Experience working in a Japanese local company preferred.
Knowledge of SQL and Python preferred.
