
Director of Business Development

Responsibilities
- Develop office activities and initiatives that improve the office’s strategic marketing orientation and market leadership
- Lead and mentor the operations and staff of the office’s marketing department
- Conduct marketplace research and analyses to further develop and diversify market opportunities consistent with strategic initiatives
- Develop and implement the business development plan
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Collaborate in a team environment to execute business development strategies that increase growth and success
- Provide media relations and corporate communications support, marketing tools for business developers and support staff
- Update and improve marketing brochures
- Create plans and strategies to rebuild and improve various marketing tactics
- Implement innovative processes and creative solutions for better business practices
Qualifications
- BS in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field (MBA/MKT preferred)
- 10+ years of Business Development and/or Marketing experience; highly preferable if in Geotechnical, Environmental Engineering, Materials Testing or Facilities markets
