HR Director

In this role you will be a HR Director for a client in the manufacturing/distribution industry. This role is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for all HR functions across the organization.
This is a direct hire role that must be performed on‑site.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in HR or Business a requirement
- 7+ years of experience as a HR Director
- Must have a background in strategic leadership
- Must have a background in Manufacturing or Distribution
- Strong background in compensation design, performance management, compliance, and change management
- HR certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
- Must have a background with HRIS platforms and data‑driven reporting
- Background in Change Management and Corporate Communications
- Payroll, Benefits, Systems & Administration background
- Compliance, Risk and Reporting background- must be able to do compliance reporting including: EEO‑1, CA Pay Data, wage reporting, 401K audit support, OSHA, DOL, and EEOC requirements
- Talent, Performance, and Development experience
- Compensation, incentives and workforce planning experience
- Background with Strategic Leadership and Governance
- Limited travel but about 20-25% a year
